Background & History

Mike Cadden and Scott Parfrey originally formed the company in 1987 with two clients. Known at that time as Cadden Parfrey Services, Scott Parfrey provided oversight of the maintenance and custodial service divisions, while Mike Cadden concentrated his energies on the association management sector of the company. In 1991, the Community Associations Institute awarded Mike the highly esteemed credential of Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®). In the spring of 2000, Mike made the decision to buy out Scott’s interest in the company and subsequently re-named the company, Cadden Community Management.

Today, Cadden Community Management has offices in Tucson, Sierra Vista, Green Valley and dedicates 100% of its time and talent to the management of community and commercial associations. We are the largest association management firm in Southern Arizona, representing over 35,000 lots with more than 200 associations under contract.

Company success has always depended upon providing service based on high industry standards, honesty and accountability. We have grown by providing quality service through our dedicated, experienced employees. Our staff of approximately 90 employees is composed of association managers, bookkeepers, administrative personnel, gate staff and maintenance personnel, all of whom provide quality customer service.

In this era when larger national corporations are purchasing many management companies, we continue to be locally owned and provide our clients with service at a personal level. We pride ourselves on developing professional and harmonious partnerships and relationships with our clients.

Core Team

Brett Cadden Anderson is the Owner and President/CEO of Cadden Community Management and has organized the company under the primary divisions of Accounting, Managerial and Administrative Services. There are several departments within each division and all Department Heads are regular advisors on important company issues and decisions.

Management Team

We maintain a staff of approximately 30 community managers; their portfolios vary depending on experience and desired workload. We take the training of our managers seriously, and our manager retention rate is the highest in the area. Good manager retention affords a long-term relationship with our client communities, and we are pleased to have many such long-term relationships.

The association manager assigned to your community will work directly with the board of directors to plan, motivate, organize, and direct efforts so that all objectives can be effectively accomplished in a timely and professional manner.
